• Child poverty should be stopped -

Child poverty refers to the meaning as child in poverty. This applies to children that come from poor families or orphans being raised with limited or in some cases absent state resources.

Now that you know the meaning of child poverty let’s get into the actual speech. Hi my name is Jorja-rose and today i’m going to be talking about child poverty. Today 1 billion less people live in extreme poverty which is way more than 20 years ago, with that being said children account for nearly half of the world’s poverty.

In sub saharan africa alone, 247 million children

Are deprived of their basic rights.

So much kids are going without their basic rights, such as a clean environment, food, water and toiletry items. New zealand is nearly becoming the country with the most poverty , and it doesn’t look like it’s getting any better , but as u may ask which country does have the most child poverty, according to multiple news sites and shows it was last sub saharan but now it is known to be syria now, as the war has caused major bomb sites in homes and unsafe zones which had to be evacuated. In worse cases though they have lost loved ones, but let’s get back into the proper speech.

But let’s get into much happier news, the world has been extraodinarily successful in tracking extreme poverty, between 1990- 2012, the proportion of people living in poverty has more than halved.
